TREBLE COMPLETE |
Adelaide City completed an unprecedented treble of trophies on Saturday when they secured the FFSA Federation Cup after despatching Adelaide Blue Eagles 4-1 at Hindmarsh Stadium.
Having already secured the BEST Super League title and Errea Cup, the Federation Cup win ensured that City won every competition it participated in in 2006.
City coach Damian Mori was full of praise for his young team, "The team has matured and now have the confidence and composure to stick to our plan even when things aren't quite going for us. The boys don't drop their heads, keep working and eventually we have turned things our way more often than not."
Adelaide City's 60th Anniversary season will be remembered as a season of remarkable on field success.
