From the moment that Damian Mori put City ahead with a typically sharp finish in the 4th minute after being put through by Adriano Pellegrino, City were never seriously challenged. Pellegrino capped a Man-of-Match performance by scoring City’s second early in the second half with an unstoppable effort from well outside the penalty area. Having completed their 35 consecutive League game without defeat Adelaide City remain well on course for their third consecutive Championship win.
