On a chilly Monday night at Adelaide City Park, the large crowd enjoyed a fiercely but good mannered encounter. Against the run of play, Robbie Saraceno put White City ahead after 20 minutes after an Adelaide City defensive mix up.
The Black & Whites were level 15 minutes later after Damian Mori latched on to a Adriano Pellegrino through ball.
Mori put City ahead early in the second half after he smashed home a Nick Budin cross.
Both sides created several scoring opportunities as the second half progressed but the score remained unchanged.
