Friday night football returns to Adelaide City Park when Adelaide City host Western Strikers in another important clash in their quest to win the Apex Steel Women’s premiership and gain automatic promotion.
City come into the clash on an incredible 15-match unbeaten streak which saw them dispatch Modbury Jets 5-0 last weekend.

Paul Morris’ side were at their fluent best against the Jets, producing a scintillating attacking display.
A Millie Scott brace as well as goals from Natalie Frantzis, Yasmina Kasumovic and Nakita Pereira sealed a dominant victory for the team determined to keep winning and apply the pressure on first placed Sturt Lions.
The Black and Whites are second on the table, six points behind the ladder leaders with two extra matches still to play – one of them will be Monday night away at Cove.

Consequently, Morris will be hoping his team can take care of business early with one eye on the short turnaround and potentially rotate players to ensure the squad is fresh.
However, first and foremost collecting three points this Friday is the obvious priority and primary focus.
When City and Strikers previously encountered at the end of March, the Zebras claimed a 5-1 triumph.
Although, the visitors, who lie in fifth spot, will arrive at Oakden in some form – winning back-to-back games against Cove and most recently South Adelaide 5-0.
A fascinating fixture awaits with the City juggernaut looking to roll on and secure another vital victory.
The Reserves will begin the evening at 6:15pm before the Seniors kick off at 8:15pm.
