NPL Round 15 Preview: Adelaide City v MetroStars

A blockbuster clash awaits at Adelaide City Park on Saturday night as Adelaide City hosts MetroStars in Round 15 of the RAA National Premier League.

With just five points separating the two sides on the ladder, the fixture shapes as one of the standout matches of the round. MetroStars enter the weekend in second position on 31 points, while Adelaide City sits third on 26 points and will be eager to close the gap with a strong result at home.

The Black and Whites come into the contest unbeaten in their last five league matches, although three consecutive draws have prevented them from making further ground at the top of the table. Most recently, City was held to a 0-0 draw by Adelaide United in the Original Rivalry at ServiceFM Stadium.

With first and second place both within reach, Saturday night's encounter carries significant implications for the top end of the table. A win for City would cut the gap to MetroStars to just two points and further strengthen the Black and Whites' position among the league's leading contenders.
