Rob Muscio Recognised with PAE Sport Network Volunteer Appreciation Award

Adelaide City Football Club congratulates Robert 'Rob' Muscio on being recognised at the 2026 PAE Sport Network Volunteer Appreciation Function, held in early-June 2026, where he received the Club's nomination for the PAE Sport Network Volunteer Appreciation Award.

Hosted by the City of Port Adelaide Enfield, the annual event celebrates the significant contribution volunteers make to more than 150 sport and recreation clubs across the PAE community. Clubs were invited to nominate volunteers whose dedication and service continue to make a meaningful difference.

Adelaide City's nominee was Rob Muscio, whose tireless work behind the scenes has become invaluable to the Club.

Rob's connection with Adelaide City dates back to 1984, when he was selected for the South Australian state team. At the time, coach Mario Corti wanted Rob in Adelaide for regular training, which led him to join Adelaide City, then coached by Anthony DiBartolo and Tony Composto.

Rob spent around four to five months with the Club before returning to Whyalla, before moving back to Adelaide in 2010.

His connection to Adelaide City continued when his son, Josch, joined the Club in 2011, bringing the Muscio family back into the Black and White community.

Today, Rob is one of the Club's quiet achievers. Week after week he volunteers countless hours maintaining Adelaide City's Oakden facilities, often using his own equipment, vehicle and resources to ensure the grounds are presented to the highest standard. His commitment saw him awarded Adelaide City's Life Governor status in 2025.

This latest recognition from PAE Sport Network is a fitting acknowledgement of Rob's selfless service and unwavering commitment to Adelaide City Football Club and community sport.
