Vale Charlie Caruso

Adelaide City Football Club is deeply saddened by the passing of former President Charlie Caruso.

Charlie was a significant figure in the history of our Club, serving as President of Adelaide Juventus from 1972 to 1980 and later as President of Adelaide City from 1983 to 1991.

His contribution to football extended far beyond the Club. Charlie served on the National Soccer League executive for almost two decades, was Chairman and a Life Member of the South Australian Federation, and contributed to the game at both state and national level.

Charlie’s dedication, leadership and service to football leaves an enduring legacy, and his contribution to Adelaide City will always be remembered.

The Club extends its sincere condolences to Charlie’s family, friends and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
