Adelaide City Football Club is saddened to learn of the passing of former player, board member and life member Thomas 'Tom' Crawford, who passed away on Saturday, 30 May 2026 at age 87.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Tom arrived in South Australia after an accomplished football journey that included representative honours with Kent Schoolboys and London Boys Club, as well as semi-professional football in England. He later joined Adelaide Juventus, where he became a respected player, representative footballer and valued member of the Club community.

He went on to play more than 250 games for Adelaide Juventus and later served on the Club's Board during the 1980s, making a significant contribution both on and off the field.

In a tribute published in The Advertiser on Tuesday, 16 June 2026, by Adelaide Juventus Sports and Social Club, the Board acknowledged Tom as an outstanding contributor, player and life member, extending condolences to his wife Margaret and family.
The thoughts of everyone at Adelaide City Football Club are with Margaret, Michael, Russell and the entire Crawford family during this difficult time.
