It is second against third when Adelaide City travels to Smith Partners Stadium to face Modbury Jets on Saturday night.
The Apex Steel Women’s State League Round 18 clash presents another opportunity to keep the pressure on pace-setters Sturt Lions, who play on Sunday.

City remain undefeated in a staggering 14 matches, having last experienced a loss on the opening matchday against the Lions.
Paul Morris’ team produced a professional display the previous round courtesy of a 2-0 win over Elizabeth Grove. Yasmina Kasumovic and Nakita Pereira were on target for the Black and Whites at Oakden.

The Jets arrive in formidable form with four consecutive victories including a 2-0 away triumph against South Adelaide last weekend.
City played out a 1-1 draw against Modbury in their first meeting of the season in March before sealing a dominant 4-0 win two months later.
An intriguing battle looms. Can City negate Modbury’s resurgence and keep its title aspirations alive with matches in hand, or will the Jets continue their recent run of positive results.
Earlier in the evening, the Reserves kick off at 5:30pm before the Seniors take centre stage at 8:00pm.
