Football Director, Angelo Costanzo, said retaining the core of the squad was important as City prepares to return to the national stage.

“We’re really pleased that almost all of the group that delivered the double this season will continue to represent Adelaide City in the Australian Championship,” Costanzo said.

“Importantly, the majority of those players have also committed to the Club beyond the Championship, which gives us continuity and a strong foundation as we look towards 2027 and beyond.

“We believe strongly in the group we already have, and the additions we’ve made are about complementing that squad and adding further quality and depth for what will be a demanding competition.

“There’s a real sense of excitement within the group and we’re looking forward to seeing them represent Adelaide City on the national stage.”
