Adelaide City continued its outstanding Apex Steel Women’s State League form with a commanding 4-0 victory over Western Strikers at Adelaide City Park on Wednesday night.
The Round 12 catch-up match was originally scheduled for Carnegie Reserve before being moved to Adelaide City Park due to pitch conditions.

Natasha Vella opened the scoring after 10 minutes to give the Black and Whites an ideal start.
Natalie Frantzis doubled City’s advantage in the 39th minute before Vella struck again on the stroke of half-time, sending Paul Morris’ side into the break with a dominant 3-0 lead.
City maintained control after the restart and completed the scoring in the 73rd minute when Frantzis found the net for her second goal of the evening.
The night also marked a special milestone for Aleixa Carrozza, who made her senior debut for Adelaide City.
The victory extended Adelaide City’s unbeaten run to 19 matches and moved the Black and Whites level with ladder leaders Sturt Lions on 51 points, sitting second only on goal difference.
City will now turn its attention to another important fixture against third-placed Adelaide Jaguars at 3:00pm this Sunday.
