Premiership Glory Headlines Huge Week for City

It was a memorable week for Adelaide City, with premiership success and finals football taking centre stage as several competitions reached the end of their regular seasons.

The Senior Men were officially crowned 2026 RAA NPL Premiers, finishing the regular season in style with a commanding 3-0 victory away to FK Beograd on Saturday night.

There was also silverware for the WSL Reserves, who secured the Women's State League Reserves Premiership following a 2-0 win over Adelaide Jaguars on Sunday.

The WSL Seniors finished their regular season with back-to-back victories, scoring 10 goals without reply across the week. Their 6-0 win over Adelaide Jaguars on Sunday sees City now turn its attention to the WNPL Promotion Play-Off and the opportunity to earn promotion to South Australia's top women's competition.

The NPL Under 18s finished the regular season in fourth place, securing their place in the finals series and an upcoming Elimination Final.

Across the junior program, there were also a number of impressive performances and high-scoring victories to round out another busy week for the Black and Whites.

It was a fitting conclusion to the regular season for several Adelaide City teams, with the NPL Seniors and WSL Reserves both crowned Premiers and plenty still to play for in the weeks ahead.

Attention now turns to the postseason, with the WSL Seniors preparing for their WNPL Promotion Play-Off and the NPL Under 18s heading into an Elimination Final after securing fourth place.

There was plenty to celebrate throughout the junior ranks as well, with the Under 14 YSL Black and White teams both recording 6-1 victories, the Under 14 and Under 15 YPL sides each scoring five goals, and several other City teams finishing the week with strong performances.

With two premierships secured and important postseason matches still ahead, the 2026 season remains very much alive for the Black and Whites.
