Adelaide City squandered a first-half, two-goal lead to draw 2-2 against FK Beograd at Adelaide City Park and finishing the Round 11 contest with 10 men.
Luis Lawrie-Lattanzio and Domenic Costanzo struck inside the opening 16 minutes before Lorenzo Boselli’s brace ensured a share of the spoils on Saturday.
Head Coach Vas Parhas made two changes to the side that drew to Playford City last time out with Daniel Bressan and Fergus Lynch coming in for Nicholas Francese and Giorgio Parhas.

City made a lightning start to proceedings and found the breakthrough in the seventh minute when Asad Kasumovic dribbled to the byline and his expert cutback was met by a clinical first-time finish from Lawrie-Lattanzio.
The hosts doubled their advantage through another incisive and almost identical attacking move, only this time from the left flank and Lawrie-Lattanzio turning provider.
Costanzo switched the play to the winger near the centre of the pitch and continued his run into the box before heading home Lawrie-Lattanzio’s precise cross off the underside of the crossbar.

City were seemingly cruising but Beograd were invited back into the contest after some grappling in the box from a corner where Yuki Kitano was adjudged to have fouled Boselli.
The protestations were dismissed and Boselli slotted the ensuing spot-kick with aplomb, sending goalkeeper John Hall the wrong way on 21 minutes.
Four minutes into the second half parity would be restored with Boselli profiting from a mistake at the back and chipped the ball into an empty net from outside the 18-yard-box.

City’s task of finding a winner was compounded with 10 minutes to play when Lawrie-Lattanzio received his marching orders for retaliation.
The speedster evaded one challenge before Peter Palasis committed an impetuous challenge to prevent a swift break, catching him quite high.
The 24-year-old took exception and reacted aggressively resulting in a melee and the referee brandished a straight red card.
Francesco Schimizzi was unable to keep his chance down late on in the 88th minute following some excellent wing play from Costanzo as the matched ended all square.
The result leaves City in fourth place on 19 points, four off ladder leaders West Torrens Birkalla.
