Adelaide City return to Adelaide City Park on Friday night looking to build on last weekend’s derby success when they host Sturt Lions in Round 13 of the RAA National Premier League.
The Black and Whites enter the clash in good spirits after a hard-fought 2-1 victory over West Adelaide at Kilburn Sportsplex. Goals from Yuki Kitano and Oliver Western secured all three points and extended City’s unbeaten run to four matches.

The result lifted Adelaide City to fourth on the ladder with 22 points from 12 matches, while Sturt Lions sit eighth on 15 points. With just seven points separating the two sides, Friday night's clash presents an important opportunity for City to strengthen their position inside the top four.
Sturt come into the fixture on the back of a 1-0 defeat to FK Beograd, with a first-half goal proving the difference between the sides.
The two teams met earlier this season, with Sturt Lions claiming a narrow 1-0 victory. Adelaide City will be looking to reverse that result on Friday night and continue the momentum generated by last weekend's derby win.
With Friday night football under lights at Adelaide City Park, supporters can expect another entertaining contest as City look to continue their climb up the RAA NPL ladder.
